Derek Clark is a freelance journalist who started writing professionally in 2007. He has produced several articles for Sky News, Independent Radio News and BBC, as well as appearing as a football pundit on satellite channel Setanta Sports. Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism at Glasgow Caledonian University.
He has reported from many major sporting events and carried out some of the most exclusive interviews of recent times. He has worked as a News and Sport Editor and broadcast journalist.
He is also a qualified gym and fitness instructor and a football coach.
